New commit: Travin Henry

Sweet, Jacksonville State and GSU wanted him bad....he must be good....

Looks like Autry's gone - he's the one that was thinking of Miami, right?

I don't really see this as a big deal. The guys had similar offer lists on Rivals, looks like an "even trade" for us.

That is Crawford, he's a CB.

No. Crawford is gone. Autry is 100% GT.

Do you mean Crawford? We are showing Henry as Athlete, he has played O and D but I don't know where we would want him. He actually played DE for HS but went to a Ugag camp and they worked him out at LB.

Reminds me of Jeff Greene's film. Doesn't look blazing fast but has good hands. So... are we settling for a lesser player or was he just under the radar at some rural high school.

Autry could play WR or S, this could mean they start him at S now with Henry onboard.

Autry looks better at WR, great blocking. I think both will stay. We only have 6 scholarship WRs and 3 will be seniors. Only one of our returning receivers has caught a pass. We need both.

Summers is a WR too.

I remember Kevin Cone was a transfer from NAIA Shorter College and while he didnt have the best hands his blocking was A+. So good it got him on the Falcons roster. Maybe some of these lower "star" recievers will turn out like him. 6'4 is good size which always is a plus.

Nice pickup IMO, has good size and doesn't look clumsy on his film.
Can't teach size like that, and he is obviously fast enough for us since Vandy offered him and we all know what conference they play in....
