GT #15 in Draft Rank vs. Recruiting Rank. That's not bad...right?

Looking over comparisons, it seems an indication of how well a school coaches up its incoming talent.

Some schools really hurt the incoming talent's prospects NFL prospects it seems.

Notre Dame is one, they are near the bottom of the list. But who wants millions of dollars when you can have the prestige of Notre Dame?

Tech is 8th in the ACC and that is barely counting PJ's players. Unfortunately, by going with PJ' offense, we're going to see a big drop in skill players going forward. We will send very few QB's, A Backs, OL to the NFL which will cut down on the players picked.

sonuvabitch...why couldn't we have been 42nd? I might have felt some hope for the future.

EDIT: Reading the ranking I see we're tied for 39th with 5 other teams...so we can be 42nd if we choose to be...excellent

But USC can't move up at all. They arguably have the best ratio just because it shows they don't ruin what they recruit. (I don't know how believable any of these stats are however. jussayin)

Yeah, that's why we recruited highly rated guys like Hill, Uzzi, Lee, Justin Thomas, Smith, Cross, Burnett, Hunt-Days, Attaouchu, Young, Sweeting, and Isaiah Johnson, all under CPJ.

Burnett was not highly rated...

Burnett was a 3-star prospect who's coach said he was possibly the best player he ever coached. He was not considered an elite prospect, no, but he was clearly at the top of GA Tech historic recruiting ceiling. Groh moved him back on the depth chart when he got here due to his stature, but he played his way into the starting lineup by September of Groh's first year.

Interesting. Of all 38 teams ranked ahead of us, only TWO had lower recruiting rankings than we did. That seems to indicate that we maximize our talent.
