What kind of year do you think we could have next year?
Any info on non-conference scheduling?
How will Vad Lee emerge as the new starter?
Is our D going to be strong enough for an ACC Championship?
What recruits will be starting?
How does the 2013 class match up with previous classes?

I just really want to get this mediocore year out of the way and get ready for next year. Lets beat Georgia and win a bowl and start grinding for next season. With Clemson, VT and UNC at home I feal like we have a good shot at an ACC Championship and the UGA game at the end could be a good rank-booster.

I'll have what your having :drink1:

I think we should start anointing ourselves the National Champs of September. UGA does it every year and it makes them relevant for a month or so before they fade into oblivion.

Is it too early to kick off the Vad For Heisman campaign?

Vad will definitely get more playing time as the year goes along. Just be patient. We are definitely on the way up.

EDIT: O and Synjyn is too good to keep off the field.

Depends. Will we have the same Coaches ?

I looked over the schedule.

@BYU
Elon
Of course UGA

Also,
FSU

Those are some winable games.

The more CPJs stubborn ass doesn't play him this year = less of a chance he has a good year...

If his first start is the first game next year we will have a pretty average to below average year.

If he gets a few starts this season, the outlook will be a little brighter.

"If he gets a few starts this season, the outlook will be a little brighter."

That's not guaranteed.

I don't see him starting this year. Someone give me an example of when that has happened? Injuries don't count obviously.m and yes I know Tebow played a lot over what's his nuts. Can't remember his name. Believe it or not, but Vad is probably progressing, whether he starts or not. I would like to see that happen, but can't recall how many programs do stuff like that. Conner Shaw last year I guess.

Nothing in life is guaranteed. But a QB with a few starts under his belt is undeniably in a better position than one starting his first game. No matter how our coach wants to skew it with his talk of "easing him into the system".

Well hopefully will start out with a few easy games before we get into the bulk of our schedule. We have a lot of big home games this year.

Who is guaranteeing that Lee will be the starter next season? We'll see how's camp goes next spring and summer. The fast kid from Alabama (Thomas?), as well as Dennis Andrews will be in the mix. And so will Tim Byerly. You rememeber him don'tr you? Sitting out 2012 per NCAA Transfer rules. He is of a similar build as Lee. He put up similar numbers to Lee, and led Chatahoochee H.S. to a GHSA AAAA Championship in 2010 with a 15-0 record. I'm anxious to see what he will bring to the mix before I annoint Lee the 2013 starter.

All has to do with defense, and I don't see that getting any better under the 3-4 scheme. Offense should be fine. Missing Omeregie will be devastating however.

There is no way in hell Vad won't be the starter. If CPJ even thought about not starting Vad he would be as far away from Georgia Tech athletics as B*** L****.

Public demand can be a huge factor in coaching decisions, unfortunately.

I was just going to post the exact thing

sigh.

1. Andrews moved to Aback looooong time ago.
2. Byerly WILL NOT START. Tevin 2.0... you want that?
3. Lee and Thomas will battle for the job next spring/fall.
