Mark Bradley doesn't think GT has 'BCS caliber' players on Defense

Mark, is that you?

I wonder how much attention he would get if he wrote something bright and insightful?

If you're lining up one db across from two receivers, I don't care how good your athletes are. The other guys are going to eat your lunch. Scheme most definitely can mitigate athletic ability, or else we'd be running pro style like everybody else.

I guess that explains all the missed tackles.

Nevermind, I was thinking FBS instead of BCS.

would love to know who the hell on this team is a BCS caliber talent, much less a potential NFL prospect (not practice squad). and don't say Vad Lee.

Plenty. The whole starting defense is starting BCS caliber. If there BCS caliber they wouldn't have been 3 or 4 star rated like all of them are. I don't put much stock into recruiting services, but I think they know who should be in BCS and FBS.

And BCS doesn't equal NFL. Plenty of great college players play great but don't play well in the NFL.

I think a lot of people believe every team should have the same talent/depth as Alabama, and if they don't then there is something wrong.

Has anyone ever told Mr Bradley that he's not BCS caliber sports reporter?

I don't think the AJC has 'Newspaper caliber' columnists on the sports page
