Anyone listening to the CPJ Show?

Slightly earlier:

Not surprisingly, CPJ very stern in his defense of Tevin. Sounds very frustrated at the fans; said we don't see how hard Tevin works in practice even with all the criticism. Difficult to read articles with 200 comments calling him "dog crap", etc. Said he doesn't care if people criticize him (CPJ) but these guys are just kids.

Cue all the internet tough guys.

anyone catch the Roberto caller?

sounded light in the loafers asking about redshirt players status.

I'm sure Reggie worked real hard in practice as well

Agree that individual players don't need to be ragged on but did anyone tell him how frustrated the fans have become with the coach himself?

He needs to stop addressing it at all. Fans are entitled to their opinions and he is entitled to completely ignore them.

I saw a year of Bennet. Reggie was the best QB on the team. I'll go a step farther and say Reggie was the best QB all 4 years. That is gailey's fault, not Reggie's.

Tevin is playing better than Vad right now. CPJ hasn't given up on the season yet. It may bite him in theuga game and next year, but CPJ is clearly trying to get as many wins as he can get this year.

Maybe fans should stop calling in with the same retart "question" every week.

I'm sure Randy from Gainesville felt butthurt when CPJ completely dismissed his retart question.

What did the guy say who they cut out? To whom Johnson responded "Thanks, I didn't know that."

This is debatable. I watched Reggie lose 5 games with the best player in America, one of the best RB's in the ACC and a very good defense. Who knows what Taylor would have done with CJ. We saw a glimpse of it in the Gator bowl. Our defense was slightly worse in 2007 as well.

Taylor Bennett was the worst starting D-I QB I've ever seen.

Just before that, coming out of commercial, CPJ said "should be in the SEC". I wonder what that was about too.

Wonder if PJ realizes that the people who have supported him from the day he was hired are extremely frustrated with him. He'd be best served by shutting up about the fans and focusing on developing a QB and defense.

This post is funny if you imagine it being spoken in the voice of Mrs. Braflaski.

+1. Truth. CPJ retorted about one instance where Tevin scored with 40 secs left in the 4qtr against VT. Problem is that there are lots of other drives where the offense wet the bed in the 4 qtr.

What if Vad Lee just isn't that good right now? or even that good from day one? We choose to see him as the 'ESPN 150' player and not the Rivals/Scout 3-star that's only other significant offers were from UNC, Wake, Maryland, etc. I believe possibly Auburn too but not at QB. Tevin sucks, but maybe in practice VL has been worse... I'm sure it IS annoying that he has to hear fans constantly give their 2 cents about why he should make a QB change when they don't know what they are talking about. If Vad is clearly playing significantly worse every day in practice, what should CPJ do? "Alright Vad, the fans have spoken, I'm going to start you this week."
