Camden v Lowndes

I'm watching two pretty good Georgia high school teams go at it on ESPNU, and I can't seem to enjoy my self for being pissed off that none of these players (in two run-dominated offenses by the way) appear to even be CONSIDERING Tech. In contrast, UGAg, LSU, and the rest of the SEC seem to be getting the best of the players in this game.

Are there none of these players with enough of a brain to WANT a stellar education for free?

NFL scouts from 20+ teams by default
Televised games
Nike uniforms
National championships
No homework
Better regional food than you'll find in Maryland

Why would we want really good high school players when we've got a roster full of decent-ish college players?

I know this is sarcasm, but I'd like to give an answer anyway......

Camden hit a 45 yard field goal to end the first half....right down the middle and with enough air to clear from 55 or so. Wonder if that guy can graduate early and come help us out.
 
I can tell you that the Camden players don't even know Tech exists. It's either Floriduh or Gawja.
 
Announcer adds insult to injury by pointing out that Brice Ramsey will have to adjust to a traditional passing offense at UGA and that only one college team really runs the offense he's in now....and that it's also in Georgia.

A lot of those Camden players are transplants....Navy kids from Kings Bay.

You're right, though, I've lived in St. Marys and Kingsland and they are like the rest of South Georgia....covered in the disgusting palette of red and black.

Yeah, but at SEC schools can you get the entire floor of your dormitory in one big game of Counterstrike?

The LAN parties at Tech are unsurpassed.
 
Lowndes doesn't really have any highly regarded guys. This is the least talented Lowndes team ive seen in a while.

Outside of Ramsey and Green, which Camden guys are big time prospects?

I only kind of half paid attention, but they mentioned an Auburn commit and several others that were being considered by SEC teams (of course I have no way of verifying that).

That would be nice, except that kid is Bryce Ramsey a 5* qb who is going to ugay. However there is a rumor down this way that richt may not redshirt him so he can kick. Kind of an odd way to burn a redshirt
