My question was if we lose? Why go to a bowl with a losing record? We dont care about the money. We probably could use the time off.

How about if we lose you just stop posting? Why post to the board of a team with a losing record? You could probably use the time off.
 
If we end up 6-7, take the bowl to try and get to 7-7.

On a positive note, we are only giving up 40+ every other game.

We could probably use the extra 20 days of practices with our redshirt freshmen qb who pitches behind backs and leads them into defensive players. We could also use the extra 20 days pointing out to the DB's who to take so that we don't have a safety chasing down the receiver. The bowl streak was also mentioned several times and that is a positive for recruits.

I find it funny to constantly hear here thats there are too many bowls, too many worthless bowl games, etc and when we are 6 and 7, if we lose, opinions change quickly.

Our basketball team used to not play in the NIT, how is what he's suggesting any different. The Bowl we'll be going to is about that level. I'm not saying we should do it, because of the practice time and experience for the players but the freaking out on guys on a internet message board for saying something a little outside the box is ridiculous. We're not all spokesman for a political candidate here, needing to stick to the talking points.

The Hill/faculty decide who we recruit, not ncaa rules. The hill/faculty decides what courses they want to offer, not the fans, the state, or the giving alumni. It is the Hill/faculty that is not choosing to be competitive.
