"I just saw a billboard congratulating Tech ACC Coastal football champs! Miami won it, Tech is 6-6, how embarrassing."


Here's the records:

UNC: 5-3 (ACC) 8-4 (Overall)
[including a win over Miami]

Is it because the "honorable" Mr. Olens is from Miami?

Anyone else notice that Governor Nathan Deal himself presented UGA with the Governors Cup on the field after the game last Saturday.

Anyone remember who it was that actually presented the Governors Cup to GT in 2008...in the locker room in Athens ?

It wasnt then-Governor Sonny Perdue.

This was pre-determined and not a slight at GT.

If (when) UGA wins next year in Atlanta they will be presented the Gov cup in their locker room.

If GT wins next year it will be presented on the field.
 
Old Sam Olens spoke in one of my transpo classes once. He was singing Tech's praises back then.
