Rumor has it he's being considered for the DC job. I seem to remember some hard feelings when he left for Bama. Anybody know what the deal there is?
 
Apparently he called the plays in the bowl game against Northwestern (first time he'd done so at Miss St). Didn't go so well.
 
Does anyone know if he can recruit? I don't know anything about Miss State.

What I remember is him being the one as a GA who put together the website or social media stuff we had that impressed all the kids in the 2007 class.

I thought the Miss. State defense actually played well in the 1st half given the circumstances. That game was a lot like the NC State-Vandy game.

Also Northwestern is a good offensive team.

17 of their points came off of short fields due to turnovers.

Only had 2 really successful TD drives.
 
Tech SHOULD be able to pay more than Miss State for a DC but apparently we are not.

Geoff Collins was a good recruiter but I wasn't convinced he had that much to do with the 07 class. I think it was more a group effort/luck/good circumstances than any one coach.

Why exactly should Tech be able to pay more than Miss St?
