I have a friend who is a huge Tech fan and lives in Clemson. Since Gameday is going to be there the first week he plans to make a large sign saying "Myles Autry come to Georgia Tech" and stand right behind the stage. Not sure it will help but it got me thinking of what Wazu does with the flag. Seriously considering getting on craigslist and getting people to make signs like this at all the Gameday locations. What do you think? Terrible idea?

Will only work if each person wears the Official StingTalk Walrus Mustache whilst holding the sign.

the NCAA will find a way to turn this into some recruiting violation, i would be hesitant to name recruits by name instead of just having a GT flag or stte

haha they totally would. And if Myles signed they would deem him ineligible because of it.

hell, i can make the case

You are providing free advertising for a person whom you wish to entice to your school. Sponsors pay known amounts for advertising with the GameDay program, these values can be used to determine the monetary value of your advertisement of a specific player based on time and size of expose and number of hits. the monetary amount value of the advertising has been provided free to a prospect based solely on him being a student athlete, thus a special dispensation based on athlete status and therefor not allowed

So you're saying do it, then when the ncaa comes, refuse to cooperate with them or acknowledge any affiliation with Tech, thus shutting down any investigation they would have. Remember, they're not the law.
