2014 schedule

I would like to go to Pittsburgh and Tulane.

Pittsburgh serves beer in their stadium, don't they? Pitt should also be a relatively cheap flight from Chattanooga or Atlanta (for me)

I would like to see Tulane's new stadium. New Orleans is just "meh" to me. The place is kind filthy.

Heinz field didnt serve alcohol when I went to the FSU-Pitt game

Can I get some more dining recs for Nawlins? I'm rolling into town in about 30 minutes.
If you like burgers: Phil's Grill and Ground Patty are both good places. Not sure how far away they'd be. Also pretty sure if they'll be open this late.

We also used to go this bar called Lager's. That will might be open right now:

Verti Marte, tiny, casual, good prices (as in dirt cheap), maybe the best gumbo around

Bon Ton Café, classic Cajun place, famous locally for their traditional fried oysters, but I had my favorite New Orleans dish ever there, crawfish etoufee, just fantastic … in fact, were the occasion to arise, it might be my “last meal” of choice … :heelclick:

Thanks for the suggestions. I am now thinking maybe dook, because I hate dook and would love to see them get their asses beat in person.

My buddy already told me to do brunch at cafe atachasomething. He's making reservations but I need other spots cause I'll be there through Sunday.

I like Deanie's and Acme Oyster House. Deanie's bbq shrimp is great and the Oysters Rockefeller at Acme are pretty good. For late night, you must eat a Skillet at the Verti Marte.

Those are all in the Quarter.

If you're over by the racetrack, check out Liuzza's for a bbq shrimp poboy that will knock your dick in the dirt. (That's a good thing.)

Doubt we'll play Wofford-Tulane-Ga Southern back-to-back; all that page really shows is who we're playing OOC.

We likely won't know when the Tulane game is scheduled until ~Feb 2014.

I keep an Excel file with our future schedules and according to my records we have:
8/30/14 - Wofford
9/6/14 - @Tulane
9/13/14 - GSU

The only other date we know (thanks ACC) is 11/29/14 - @uga

3-0 start!

I'll definitely be there for the GSU game. Should be wild.

Not a great home schedule aside from Clemson and Miami. Should be a decent turnout for Southern at least, and hopefully we go 5-1 or at the worst 4-2 at home. Tulane will be a great road trip.
Imagine if we hadn't flipped Clemson on the schedule.

Cajun seafood dishes at Mulate's in the Warehouse District are great.
