Question for Johnson Doubters

Should Clemson fans want Chad Morris fired?

I'm asking those of you complaining about our offense, We've strggled against 3 teams ranked in the top 15 in ESPNs defensive efficiency stat: VPI #1, BYU #4, Clemson #12.

Clemson has played 1, FSU #2. FSU held them to. 7 pts until garbage time. Do those of you questioning Johnson and his offense seriously believe Climpsin fans should have the same attitude about Chad Morris?

Stoopid comparison by another excuse maker.

I'm tired of all of you trying to make me feel grateful for 7-5 and watching Tech get embarrassed on the national stage.

We're trying to do it before a bunch of 2-3 win seasons do it. That is the risk when you play Russian roulette (ie hiring a new coach). Also don't bother posting in a thread like this if you are going to be a bitch and not attempt to answer the question.

The problem is we don't perform against the big boys. 1-14 is frickin unacceptable.

He needs to be gone. Shouldn't keep your job with a record like that.

WHY NOT!!!!!!!???????

This is what I can never understand from you people. This is Georgia Tech football we are talking about, winning against that arbitrary cutoff of teams you discuss will be considered an upset by everyone and anyone 9 times out of 10. How in the ööööing hell can any program survive when getting upsets against better teams every year is the expectation? It's completely ööööing irrational. There are plenty of reasons to be unhappy with the current situation but losing to programs like those should not be one of them, that's like UCLA fans being pissed at going 10-2 but not beating Oregon or Stanford.

I'm tired of everyone acting like Johnson will never achieve success at Tech again after a few average seasons. A reasonable expectation for us is to do decently always, but do great every once in a while. Johnson has and will meet that expectation.

It's ONE öööö win in 4 years. We don't need to be going .500 but winning 4 or 5 would be acceptable. We aren't even close, it's getting progressively worse in the talent gap and scores.

That just isn't true. We very easily could have 6+ wins out of that group. Unfortunately we have come out on the bottom of a lot of close games.

The oft posted 1-14 groan is against the top 4 teams on our own schedule---not a National top 4. I'm not a CPJ doubter, but this record is cause for legit concern about the program, which is a much bigger subject than CPJ and/or the TO.

If you are only upset with w-l results, then this thread is not directed to you. This thread is directed at those who think our offensive scheme is the problem.

I detest PJ's offense. Just like all the top offensive recruits.

I judge based on the outcome. methods (schemes) are irrelevant.

I have seen a downward trend and don't have any hope that Tech will be any better based on past results. I want Tech to play hard and be competitive, not look like bumbling idiots like they did with the mistake ridden game against Clemson. Tech players do not look prepared and I blame the coaches. It seems to be getting worse.

It is not even about the four guaranteed losses on Tech's schedule, it is the lack of preparation and the mistakes. I mean who the öööö thinks it is a good idea to block the best DE in the ACC with a reciever? Are you kidding me!

What difference does the number of losses make? It's like if out of 10 coin flips you got 9 heads and figured it makes sense to expect the 10th to be tails. Please, I am trying to figure out how it makes sense to expect specific upsets to occur or to judge any career on the ability to cause them.

There are definite issues with the team right now like what the last guy just said, but to me it just doesn't make sense to focus on the WHO we lose to unless that WHO is really bad.

Can't disagree on this point. Waller is not a TE. That was stupid. Then the next drive Sims totally whiffed in pass protection.

Yes. A horrible attempt at influencing by comparison.

The offensive scheme has proven to work with good players. We cannot recruit good players. These are facts

You make Clemson Tom look smart, We scored more on Clemson in the first 35 minutes, 17, than any team except georgie, fsu, and md scored in the whole game, and md had scored only 13 with 6min left in the game.

I can understand whiny b'yatches like E. Jacket who aren't trying to be rational. But when you assert stupid stuff like this as fact, you're just making bags.of rocks tweet SMH to their friends.

Please don't try to make them understand. They don't love GT 100% and are happy with GT not being all it can be. They have no concept how winning those games will not hurt, but help, their precious degrees.

Hard to understand why they don't just come out and say we should join ivy league or swap conferences with the evening school of commerce.

They think very little of GT.

So you're quite happy to trade what we have for the very real possibility that we might hire another Bill Lewis and go 1-10?
