Criminoles is who I want to win. Auburn is who I think will end up winning, probably on some sort of miracle play with 5 seconds left. Do I think Auburn is the better team? No. But they've got so much luck.
 
A lot of the FSU defenders have the advantage of playing our offense before. That means a lot going up against the option. They will win by 2 or 3 TDs.
 
Yeah, I think FSU wins this. A little torn because I have some friends who are Auburn grads. But I know a few FSU grads too.
 
FSU's D will be very prepared. They've basically coasted through every game which would be my only concern. What happens when they get punched back. But I honestly think it could get ugly for Auburn.
 
Auburn has a horseshoe shoved up its rear. Two miracle wins and then a team that hasn't lost in 2 years wets the bed to let them into the title game. I have no doubt they'll win.

I wonder if SEC going to the national championship means Ole Miss jumps to a higher bowl and we play Vandy in the Music City.
 
I just wish more love could be given to Michigan State. They just beat the #2 team without a miracle. They won every Big Ten conference game by 10+points. Their only loss was at the hands of awful officiating...
 
Auburn is gonna get boat-raced out of the öööö stadium.
 
I'm pulling for Auburn because my old man went there. As much as I'm tired of the SEC, the man's paying my way through Tech, and he introduced me to college football, so Auburn's got a lock on my 2nd favorite team slot. War Eagle.

Now, do I think they'll win? Maybe, maybe not. We'll just wait and see.

Auburn:

- Beat #1 and defending champion Alabama. They didn't need a miracle--they were going to be tied 28-28 at the end of regulation--but it just so happens they got one. Would you rather have Auburn's field goal returner take a knee so Auburn could win another way?

- Did need a miracle to beat UGA but only because of poor officiating that gave Murray a touchdown erroneously.

- Beat the Heisman winner from last year and his team.

- Obliterated the #12 scoring defense in the country, putting up 40 points more than their prior average.

Auburn's resume is just better than Michigan State's.
 
For those who are disappointed that the SEC got into the national championship: This should be what you want. The ACC doesn't gain anything by dodging the SEC. It gains by beating the SEC's best team in front of the whole country.
 
Doesn't matter. Sec is gonna win an 8th straight because Lou Holtz just claimed that FSU is just a SEC team that happens to play in the ACC. Unbelievable. .
 
Yeah the storyline now is FSU is dominant just because the rest of the ACC sucks. Before the storyline was the ACC has no marquee teams because they all beat each other. Can't win.
 
Seriously. Holtz said that it will be 2 SEC teams playing. Because FSU has former SEC coordinators. And they have followed the SEC blueprint with a powerful defense... did they watch the sec title game? Defense?
 
I was wrong about Auburn for two weeks in a row, so this game is at best 50-50 for me.
 
The difference in the game is defense. Auburn gave up points to every team with a pulse this year, but their offense enabled them to win. FSU shut teams down, including keeping Clemson and Miami contained. FSU's closest game was at BC with Williams rushing for 149 yds. Auburn is very good right now, but they won't be able to score enough points to win.
