Come down off the ledge.

The reason(s) CPJ MAY want to leave should be the focus of our AD, donors, former players, and fans. Without addressing this, we either send yet another in a looong line of coaches into the abyss, or we won't be able to hire one that's up to the task (and that's assuming anyone is, which I doubt). Hell, even Tom O'Brien rejected us after asking a few questions about academics. Jimmies & Joes >>> coaches.

One would think, a World class technical Institute could figure out what other ingredient in the experiment needs to be changed, after changing the same one time after time with the same results, huh?

It isn't rocket science.

CPJ wants to leave because he can't recruit the caliber of athletes he needs to compete at this level. I'm sure if he had commits that were being turned away because of the Hill, we would know about it.

CPJ can't get the athletes he needs because he doesn't run an offense that will help the best kids get to the next level. The best athletes want to play at a school that will help them get to the NFL. Clearly, Chan was able to recruit a few of those. CPJ, not so much.

Is it wrong that I jerked off to this thread????

So did Tom O'Brien after thinking about the fact that he coached 3 current NFL starting QBs. And none of them came from Archie Manning's penis.

A couple of things, I was in the bottle last night and insulted some and that's not acceptable. I quit posting on this site because I thought too much of that stuff went on so I'm sorry to those I offended. I think if you met me in person you would find out quickly that I'm not made that way.

I will say this one last time, I don't hold a grudge against this staff for not offering Harrison. Harrison never pursued GT, bohannon pursued him and invited him to Jr. Day. We were realistic enough to know that Harrison didn't have the grades but visited anyway, I misspoke about comparing grades of his to those that had been offered. I spoke with three former coaches at GT and asked them to compare Harrison's grades to players previously offered and they all laughed and said there were many offered that made Harrison look like a deans list student.

As for the comment that someone made about Harrison barely could or not start at The Citadel was an interesting knock on him. While yes he was redshirted his first year, please remember the kid was in a coma in the spring of '11 and öööö near lost him. That took a huge toll on his body and took him longer than anyone ever thought to come back. Enter his second season, while he didn't start the beginning of the year he did manage to start the last four games and was the top performer of all those games. There's a respect given at The Citadel that when you come back for a fifth year you are the starter by default, an unspoken rule I don't believe in but understand, so while your comment was cute, know the facts first when speaking of my son.

I do not start rumors on here! Nate and I know for fact that Paul put it out there is fact. No I will not tell you who told us and if you don't believe us that is fine, that doesn't bother me. I also know for a fact that the locker room is very toxic with many players unhappy, I know this to be true from 3-5 people who I've spoken with.

I've stated my thoughts about Sewak on here, he is not a good coach but Paul is not going to let him go, I watch in amazement at our Oline and what they are asked to do. I DONT FAULT THEM, they are doing what they are told to do.

Lastly, I'm not a person that needs his ego stroked, never been that way and never will by this forum, I have my wife who is a Tech Grad to do that for me, which should tell you it doesn't happen at home. I love GEORGIA TECH! I want what is best for the team and the school, I have every right to criticize as well as receive criticism from y'all.

I am no better than anyone of y'all and I have never acted like I was, take anything I say the way you want but I will tell you this. I don't lie and I don't start rumors.

In advance, sorry for rambling, spelling and grammar errors.

you don't need to apologize for saying whats on your mind, bottle or no bottle. Its your right. If someone gets offended by what you say on a internet forum, that a them issue.

Good post and thanks. Like I said, I can't really say I believe or don't believe you. I am sure you know quite a few inside folks so I guess there may be some merit.

Anyways, I am looking forward to GT football in 2014!

Thank you for coming back on here to clarify, Mover. Also, thank you for keeping us posted on Harrison's progress. We are all pulling for him. Please know that Corndog is a good guy, too.

No colt, we wouldn't necessarily know about kids who the Hill turned away (this happens long before the "commit" stage), but keep in mind that they have already turned away a boat load of kids via the self imposed standards at the AA, which shrinks the pool considerably. Plus, we have had several offenses that would help kids advance to the NFL---how'd THAT work out? Go back to the "experiment" thingy in my previous post.

There are a lot of former Tech players that care and want success at Tech, not all come on here like Nate and I do, Nate is not a rumor monger either, he is in the know more than I but we all try to communicate as much as possible.

What a great post. I really appreciate what you and Nate bring to StingTalk and please don't hesitate to post. I wish that we had more former players come on here and keep us straight. Please encourage them. It would even be great to touchbase with players I knew from the 70's.

Hell, I'd love it if current players would come on here but I know that's probably forbidden.

Since we are now offering kids as young as Sophomores, how would we know at that point whether the kid is going to have the grades to qualify?

Sorry, but I don't believe what you are saying is in fact that case, but you could be right. My point is that I figure if we are losing kids to others schools ONLY because of grades we would here it from the kids themselves (such as on Twitter) if not from the coaching staff either directly or indirectly through rumors.

Gentlemen, Mover may have been in the bottle last night but at the end of the day, all of his frustration was coming out from all the A$$ whoopins I gave him when we were kids!!!!:rotfl:
