Wow that was quick. He basically committed on the spot

Doesn't seem to have a lot of speed but looks elusive.

5'11 & just shy of 200 lbs.

Saw him play last year, definitely not a burner and didn't strike me as a surefire FBS player. Not really fast at all, but has natural instincts and broke a lot of tackles (played a really bad team though). I'd assume we want him as a BB.

His team gave him the ball almost every single play, from what I remember

Eric on the hive says he doesn't have a committable offer yet.

The current story is that he has some work to do before he can have a commitable offer.

I'd like to know the logic behind uncommitable offers

if you do this and that, then your offer is for sure. if you do not do these things, then it is not.

how can it be any more logical?

it's a very big carrot

Didn't see anyone run him down! Don't let that fair skin fool you. Don't fall into that trap.

Tough runner with a nice touch of nasty. Hard to believe he was only a sophomore in the film.

AB first...possible BB.

I love film like this because you cannot tell anything from guys running in wide open space for scores.

This kid has toughness, vision, quick feet, and gets every possible yard out of a play.....similar to Roddy and Godhigh.

For the folks that continue to want track athletes on the football field...Robbie Godhigh ran a 4.67 forty 3 weeks ago for the scounts...and he is a 22 year old kid.

The film most everyone is looking at of Shannon Brooks is sophomore film.

That was my first thought as well ...

I like the fact that he carries the ball tight to his body and then lowers a shoulder and delivers the hit. Doesn't break a tackle every time but gets that extra 2-3 yards.

I like his film. Especially if he's a sophomore! He has a few years to develop and I would like the pickup.
