I am getting tired of the PROFANITY. Let me tell you what happens when you take the time to type in profanity some members complain and then when I am sorting through my email I have to track down the post and review it.

I DON'T have time for that.

Vboards makes it easy for us to supend users for 24hrs and etc.

There are FEW posters who ARE VALUED members but if I keep getting dragged to your posts b/c of your language I am going to put you in the "corner" for 24,48hrs or whatever.

Keep in mind we have young GT fans that come to this board and although they cannot enter the Off Topic w/o a logon they can read the sport sites.

Would you want your kids being subjected to this language.

Show some respect and don't take the time to type profanity.
 
If you were referring to the thread started by DustJacket titled, "Rolly Ho = more disgusting in HD", that I assume you deleted, it was actually pretty hilarious except DustJacket used the forbidden "C" word which took attention away from his hilarious thread rightfully so since that word is indeed vulgar.

I get the feeliing you thought it was hilarious because he did use the "C" word. (giggle, giggle)

My thinking is, nobody reported him for his original posting of the "c" word. It's use was more or less spontaneous and the timing of the post was understandable and was amusing for that reason.
On the other hand, your repost of the same message was needless. I am getting the feeling that you enjoy cussing just to cuss, and that is offensive to most.
By the way, I did not turn you in.

Your die hard enthusiasm for the team is great. Please keep it up!
But..., keep in mind that we have all heard vulgar language. The beauty of written communication is everyone can remove pointless and less expressive vulgarities before the "send" button is pushed.
 
I may be the culprit. Some people I think are idiots. And others are just f****** stupid.

We can't really allow the use of the "C Word" even though it flows off the tongue rather nicely. :)

Possibly. But to tell you the truth, "she is better fit to be slobbering over a bucket of nachos in the stands" was the part I found most hilarious.

You are correct I have a tendency to spew foul language. As you can see I have cleaned it up quite nicely IMHO.

Thanks for the compliment about my die hard fandom, I'm really proud to be both a GT and UF fan and I always am and always will be through the good times and through the bad times.

BTW, why do people sometimes call you "pocketpool"? I know what "pocket pool" is, but I was just wondering what you think about people calling you that.

Probably because I have '"rubbed" someone the wrong way. :laugher:
Sorry for sounding sanctimonious(?) about cussing in writing. Wasn't my intention.
I do understand it is quite possible to be irritating to many without taking the cheap route. ;)

Hey, there is no "people" who do it! It was one time, and it was me. Don't take away my originality!!!! :laugher:
 
We've come along way since the early days when there were no holds barred.

The censorship doesn't bother me a bit. ST has just gotten too big for it's britches and feels this type of pc behavior is necessary for 'insurance' purposes.
