Photo of Overturned Forward Pass

I love the fact we are trying to schedule them again for 2016.

This time there will be no let up.

For the record, the second photo posted there is the play before GT converted the 3rd and 22 late in the second quarter, which led to a score. GS actually recovered that ball and the refs call it down with no replay.

Whoever posted that is probably actually hurting your case, not that it matters at this point. What exactly is the second photo supposed to show? And why aren't there at least two pictures of the overturned pitch?

Yeah I was surprised that that didn't get looked at more closely. If only coaches had the ability to call timeout to challenge calls on the field.

i thought Rincon was a person's name. who knew it was a place where dumbasses live?

it doesnt take two posts to figure that out, but it does take two points to determine displacement (which is a vector, victor)

Okay the ball is out but you can't see the ballcarrier's knees in the 2nd pic - so, 2 separate images that don't prove anything either way.

Forget the call on the field and the review - for a guy who played an overall great game he made a horrible mistake in that situation. We'd be killing our guy on here if he'd done the same.

That was actually their back-up QB Upshaw. For some reason Upshaw played that series and then the last one to end the game. Not sure why Ellison wasn't playing - looks like Southern fans don't know either. Upshaw had two drives in the 1st half (3 points) and then those two. Ellison had 7 drives and 5 TDs.

Refs said it was backwards. That's all that matters at the time of the play. That's all that matters today. If we don't get outscored 35-10 in the first half, that pitch doesn't mean as much.

It sucks, but IT IS WHAT IT IS.

You know guys, if this situation were reversed, you would absolutely be blowing a gasket. It is over and done, but the "indisputable evidence" needed to overturn the call on the field is in question here. I'm sure it will be closely reviewed by the ACC office.

Weird. Thanks for the correction.

Go blow a gasket on the loser board. Nobody here cares.

Ellison banged up his shoulder and could not go. That's why Upshaw was in the game.

apparently it's not "over and done with" to you. now kindly go öööö yourself

the only thing in question is your ability to understand facts, math, and evidence

Pretty much.

They definitely made the wrong call on the field (should assume a lateral on close option plays), then compounded it by making a questionable decision to overturn. But I'll take it.

Do you have any idea how many pitches to the A-Backs are ruled passes? More than you might think.
