Whoever it was that linebacker tackled the Miami fan as he was being a thug and disrupting the band playing the stairs, that was beautiful. I owe you many beers.

That looked like a form tackle from where I was standing. Dudes camera lens went flying.

Band marches down the hill to play the stairs. As the drumline was playing, a thug Miami fan gets in the center of our cheerleaders and dance team and walks back and forth among them holding his hands high doing the U. One of the cheerleaders tries to pull him aside, he jerks away from her and continues to disrupt. A few GT fans try to convince him to move but he continues to throw the.......wait a minute......someone running full speed from the street....BOOM......wicked hit sends Miami fan to the concrete. Looked like a linebacker hitting a WR on a crossing pattern. Miami fan woozily gets up and tries to act not hurt. Tech fan disappears into the shadows.
 
That was my best friend who nailed that Thug U fan. Especially the way he acted when our cheerleader was trying to be nice and trying to get him to stop. Well my friend made sure he stopped. Happened so quick I didn't get the video. Was hoping someone might have the video as he became a tech fan legend tonight.

Let's just say the thug u fans in our section were unusually quiet.

It was like a scene from the waterboy..Bobby Bouchee..dang..he killed em. :naughty:

His son plays football so I should give CPJ a call :biggrin:

Miami has an issue with obnoxious fans. There was a kid in the swarm wearing Miami gear and refusing to leave. We took care of that, too.

It looked like the Tech PD was looking for your friend once he got back into the crowd. Did they ever find him?

sometimes people just get what they deserve. why should the PD go looking for a guy that did exactly what they would have done if the Miami loser had not listened to their instructions?

well, they would have handcuffed him too, i guess
