OK, it's 3 days later and I'm still disgusted

Did anyone notice the that the color commentator called Jon Tenuta Joe? He did it twice! Friggin' study the subjects you're going to talk about.

Why that's still bugging me, I don't know. :)

They also repetedly called Mark Richt "Mike". This was not the A-Team of CBS broadcasters...

Yeah, and at least once he called the other team's HC "Mike" instead of "mark."

This is why you need to just turn down the volume and listen to Wes and Noter. It has been several years since I last listened to a television broadcast of a GT game. If something happens, such as the missing whistle on the fumble that resulted in a UGA td, I do check in to get the opinion of those on the broadcast, but that's about it.

I wonder where they got these broadcasters from? To my knowledge, every single week other than this one, they televise only one college football game: the 3:30 SEC game with Lundquist. I wonder if they took them from the NFL side.

The color guy was Todd Blackledge of Penn State IIRC. He used to work ESPN games and he wasn't too bad. The CBS A Team of Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson (Purdue man. :)) worked the Arkansas/Florida game. That game was sick btw. So, yeah, we got the leftovers...
