NCS predictions

This game scares the hell out of me but, Jackets 34 Wolfpack 30

Agree that it has potential to be a very difficult contest for us, think this is a tough place to play and they gave FSU a big scare IIRC

Difference is that FSU can overcome adversity easier than us simply due to sheer talent

But if we can do well offensively early we could put stress on them to keep up, hoping for a win of course but doubt it will be easy at all for us and we are missing some good players

Never have any real idea on predicting scores, just hope we can get past this one and make Clemmons game pretty important for finishing strong

No idea. Just hope we don't go O for North Carolina. Go Jackets!

NC State did not handle Georgia Southern well. Southern may have lost, but GT has higher caliber players. Southern had 438 yards of offense. I would think GT can manage that. I think GT wins by at least 10.

Of the teams Tech has played, only Tulane and UNC have a worse defense than NCS. In their game in Raleigh against BC, they gave up 310 yds rushing, including 132 by the BC QB, Tyler Murphy. Old Dominion had 504 total yds against them. NCS may move the ball well against us, but this looks like a game that we could score on almost every possession and dominate TOP. One of the good things about playing backups is they usually want to take advantage of the opportunity. With Laskey and Perkins returning soon, I don't think the offense will be looking ahead to Clemson.

Yes, he did. And against FSU too.

Duh, Winston only bets on the first half of his games. That way he can control the outcome of his bet AND win the game at the same time.

And I always spell Louieville that way. Just like it sounds.

Brissett scrambles his way to a few big plays and NCST focuses on stopping the dive, but Justin Thomas has a few long runs, the A-back yardage piles up and Tech hangs on. GT 42, NCST 27.

A veritable monsoon of butthurt despite the victory.

Good Guys: 17
House Stark: 9

Other than Clemson's Death Valley and BDS at night, Carter-Finley is loudest stadiums in the ACC. Can't give the fans hope. With that said, I see a beat down 42-10 GT

We win convincingly by the end. 42-24

Now that I think about it, can we go full-blown nerd and have the band play The Rains of Castamere at the game?
