Is there any chance Days/Laskey/Waller/Mason get drafted?

And on the opposite side of the ball does Golden or Nealy have a shot at being drafted?

I say Mason and Days are late round picks. I can see Waller being a free agent pickup because of his size. Don't know about Laskey. May have to make his mark as a special teamer or a really big version of Danny Woodhead.

No expert here...but I would have to think Mason and Waller get looks as undrafted free agents.

Golden and Nealy could get drafted along with Smelter.

Mason might be picked up really late or free agent. I don't see Days or Laskey catching on anywhere, just not enough speed. Waller seems like a project but might get free agent if he has a really good combine day.

Is there a reason Smelter hasn't been mentioned yet?

With all of the scouts coming to see Smelter I figure he's pretty much a lock to be drafted. I think his combine and 40 time will play a big part in how high or low he goes. I think the only thing that might hold him back is that he doesn't have elite speed.

He's very similar to Bay Bay in terms of being a big, physical guy, but you haven't seen Smelter take a smoke route to the house the way Bay Bay did because he doesn't have the same top gear. I think if Smelter can put down something like a 4.45 or lower he will go 3rd roundish.

Smelter without a shadow of a doubt.
DJ White is someone who next year could be a drafted. Great speed, tremendous leaping ability and very solid footwork.

I think it's a thread on guys with iffy NFL potential. It would be very surprising if Smelter doesn't play in the league.

Yea, I was watching the replay of the Clemson game and after one of the long runs, Ed Cunningham complemented a block from Mason and said iirc "this guy will be playing on Sundays, the one knock on him is his size but everything else is there" so that was interesting to hear and wondered if ppl on here think he or others will get drafted.

But, Cunningham also said that JT might play a position other than QB at the next level, so maybe he's just prone to tard comments.

I'm hoping Smelter can run a decent 40 time. I'm not sure how straight line fast he is. Hopefully he will do some serious training in the offseason and runs something in the 45 range. If he does that, he goes by the end of the 3rd IMO.

Mason will probably get drafted. Nealy and Smelter probably also. Golden is a junior, I don't see days getting picked he is pretty slow.

Well, JT would have probably been a DB/return man for Bama, so I don't think it's that inconceivable.

I bet Waller gets drafted. He doesn't seem to drop the ball, should have a good pro day and combine. Measurables are good to quite good.

Mason is only 6-1 which is short for most OL positions except Center. Wouldn't surprise me if somebody drafted him in the late rounds and moved him to C.
