How does hype affect Sagarin? I thought it was based purely off of stats.
Sagarin's method is not public.

Sagarin has been the definition of "FUBAR" for a couple of years.
What's a consistently better public source to get weekly ratings from?I dunno that I would call it FUBAR, but I would agree there are lots of guys doing it better nowadays.
If you believe this, you are a retard.
The Duke final score was reflective of the beating we took from Duke. We lost to an awful UNC team. We don't have a big win. We are ranked where we should be.

You posted a link to set of predictors recently. Sagarin's results were worse than just about any of the others.
Aren't those within couple points of sagarin in average results? Seems like they would have essentially same ratings for SEC...Personally, I like using the average of about the 5 or 6 best ATS tracked by The Prediction Tracker. My personal favorite is the Pi-Ratings.
So UGAg getting beat by mediocre USuCk and gettin the öööö öööö kicked out of them by Florida qualify as quality losses?

The SEC schedules brilliantly. They have opening games against other conferences, and while most teams are preparing for conference games, they prepare for OOC games. And the end of the season, they make sure their SEC East teams are in the best possible situation to win by scheduling cupcakes or byes before their games against the ACC.
Let's not forget how rarely the SEC will play those OOC games outside of driving distance of the SEC team's stadium.
So your argument is that you think UGA should be ranked lower than we are?
Okay...
No, I am saying that we are every bit as deserving of a high ranking as any other two loss team.
I'm saying we aren't We don't have a top 25 win and our two losses are to bad teams. Compare us to the other 2 loss teams and see how it looks... I'll hang up and listen.

So Clemson no longer qualifies as a top 25 team now that we've beaten them?
