Depends which team shows up. I'm going to put a L here just because I'm sure there would be one tossed in somewhere. 6-1

So I don't understand all the hoopla with the schedule. This would probably be a good season for us with those match ups.

I wouldn't pin us as losing to Duke and UNC either.

This exercise is dumb and will lead to nothing but extreme gold colored butthurt.
 
We're good. They're good. Push comes to shove on Saturday. Jackets surprise them at the start but UGA digs in and starts counter punching. Who wins in the end? We'll see.
 
That's why I stopped predicting precise games and instead predict a total number of losses. Different bounces, injuries and/or teams show up in each game to make it difficult to predict them. You can be better most of the time versus every team on your schedule, but still be unlikely to win every game. If you flip a coin that's 80% heads 11 times, it's pretty unlikely to get 11 heads.

Probably 8-3 or 7-4 against that schedule, if I had to guess. Clemson would have been tough without an improved defense in the first game. The other teams except for Auburn, maybe we would usually beat them but we would get unlucky in a couple of the games.
 
I don't know what our record would be, but at the time and place the games were played we would have been favored in 3 (Troy, Vandy and Charleston Southern) and maybe tossups against Kentucky and Arkansas.
 
Props to OP. I buy his analysis. We may lose but it won't be by three scores.

We would be playing against a dad-gum wishbone team that chop blocks every play and wins only because the other team can't finish the game!:hsughcry:
