This guy has gotten plenty of criticism in his career on this board and particularly by me. He has had a great season and yesterday capped it off with the best game of his career. Kudos to IJ! Way to go out a winner!

I've been pretty hard on him myself. It seems after the UNC game the defense went to a whole different level and he was a vital piece of that.

I've been with you on frustration with Isaiah, but he has utilized his time at Tech to vastly improve. IJ, keep it going next week in the ACCCG!

He has had a solid career. Smart kid too who will do well after football. Congrats IJ.

Had the chance to meet him the day after the Pitt game. Well spoken, nice young man. Really glad to see him improve dramatically this season and as BOR said, he had his best game at GT yesterday.

His hustle and effort on the fake field goal ended up being a crucial play.

He laid wood on Chubby causing that fumble! Right up there with some of the all time GT defensive stands!

His forced fumble on the goal line was beast. He had an excellent day yesterday.

During the celebration after the game, he stuck his face into the hedges, took a huge bite, and proceeded to chew the hedges!
Wish i had recorded, it was awesome!

Ballsy move. I saw what Auburn players were doing to those hedges...:turbonoes:

Do you think they steam sterilized them last week?

I've been hard on him too but the last half of the year he really really stepped it up. Early in his career it seemed he was out of position in the passing game. Then his last two years playing - skipping the off year - he had trouble tackling. Ga Southern burned him good. He also seemed to lack toughness. But all of sudden in the middle of this year his tackling really improved ans was noticeable before the uga game. Big game yesterday.

I had given up on him and Golden and was saying play the freshmen - Griffin and the Austin's. Glad the coaches don''t listen to me as those two played well from mid-October until the end of the season
