Difference in the game

The fact we can pretty much point out a handful of mistakes as the difference in this game makes me very happy.

If FSU has played at the level they played last night in any other games this year, I missed them. A team that is undefeated for two seasons and has one of the best QBs in the nation got all it wanted from our highly underappreciated Jackets. I know I'm saying nothing new, but we are one of the best ten teams in the country right now, and I'm dang proud of them!!

This.

I watched every FSU game this year. We got the full game they missed every other time they played this year.

They beat most teams with one half of full effort.

3 things

1. Smith falling down on coverage on the 2nd TD I think
2. Missed block by Bostic on 3rd and 4 or 6 before we went for it on 4th and 8
3. Dropped INT

Those were about all we did wrong all night. Maybe that false start on Griffin, but I think it was 3rd and long anyways.
Their 1st TD was busted coverage too. Corner or LB, whoever was on the TE, let him go and safety never came over to pick it up. Not sure if he wasn't supposed to be turned loose or if safety help was supposed to be there, but somebody messed up.

Yup! When you play zone like we do you cannot make mistakes like that. However, I think FSU had far and away the most complex passing offense we faced all season.

I agree with that too. Every pass play you could tell was designed for one receiver. Mostly short passes with the D all moving the other way giving plenty of room to run after catch.

I suppose you can point fingers at one thing or another, but hey, injuries happen and they had injuries too.

If you wan to point to the single deciding factor, it is the fact that FSU played a near perfect game on offense. No turnovers, no big mistakes.

One turnover, one mistake on one of those 3rd downs and we win the game.

One could tell the Corner was covering a zone. Don't know if the S was supposed to cover the deep zone behind the CB but he didn't.

Difference to me was no pass pressure by our D and 2 wide open TD catches by them (1 from mixup, 1 from trip up)

Actually pretty clean game by both as regards TO's and penalties.
