Coaching Carousel

Might have been a Mormon. Madison Wisconsin is a bastion of liberal heathens. probably wanted to get back to some semblance of normalcy. I don't know if Oregon is ground zero for that.

Go Jackets!

Yeah, Madison is sort of the yankee equivalent of Austin. Bunch of hipsters and freaks.

Since I live in Madison allow me to correct you. Definitely parts of town that are very hippy/Portlandesque. However it's still the Midwest and the state Capitol. Word here is it was family related. Why would you leave the Big Ten West where the team you need to worry about is Nebraska to the PAC12 north where you're the little brother to Oregon if it wasn't personal reasons?

That's a big leap, hope he doesn't try to copy CPJ. Jker, do you have a white typhoon? Reason I ask is I saw one on 2-85 yesterday morning it looked pretty sweet, hadn't seen one in a while!

Nope....I have a dark green one. Mine sits in the garage....I've put less than 1K miles on it in the last 5 years. I've only seen one other Typhoon in the wild.....I've seen more Syclones in the wild and they made less of them.

Pelini didn't get along with anyone at Nebraska, fans or others. That will limit his chances.

I thought that had more to do with Nebraska than Pelini, but I know nothing. I guess PJ has me more used to the wire-brush type coach anyway.

That makes perfect sense. He was the OC when the AD was head coach.

ACC getting lined up for a forgettable bowl season.

poor Pitt, losing another pretty good coach in such a short time

And Tulsa getting Philip Montgomery, Baylor's OC. VERY good hire for the Golden Hurricane.

Pitt would be stupid not to hire Pelini. Top level head coach that Pitt can afford (Nebra$ka).
