It's a kinder prediction towards us than some other media sources have made.
 
Phil Steele has consistently been a member of the club that doesn't think GT is a real football team and UNC is a perpetual Coastal favorite. Even during the Gailey days, IIRC his predictions were consistently that we would have 3-5 wins. CGE was bad, but we did in fact have winning seasons all those years.
 
Defeating UGA, playing FSU the way we did, and winning the OB are the initial steps to changing perception such as this. We really need to play well Dec 31 and finish up strong ...for several reasons.

He picked Miss State 34th and didn't have Tech. in his top 40 preseason.
 
But he does put out a really thick college football magazine every year ... :rolleyes:
