The man has said, and it has often been quoted/mocked here, that once he gets the right people in place, this offense can be unstoppable. Thinking back where some of the folks around here were calling for his head, is it now clear that he wasn't just making coach speak? This offense in the last three games has been just inspiring.

For me, this was the biggest monkey to get off our backs - competing with a top-ranked defense with the near-proverbial "month to prepare." Not only did this offense stack up against that defense, it ran roughshod right the öööö over it. The MSU D-line has been all over the sports pages this season and this team absolutely owned them. I love this coach. I love this system. I hope those fans who have been hyper critical of this system are now onboard. Season tickets need to sell out this season. The house that Dodd built needs to rock every home game.

I love all of you miserable bastards.
Go Jackets!
THWG!!!!!!!

As long as we have this guy at QB, the sky's the limit.

You spelled Paul "The End of Days" Motherööööing Johnson wrong.

People that talk negatively about paul johnson do not know öööö about football or what has become the pussification of football

Preach on. This season dispelled a lot of myths. The Orange Bowl is really big for the infamous time to prepare arguement.

Maintain an average D and CPJ will have more double digit win seasons here.

It seems to me our running game since 2008 has always been solid. What is different now is the passing game is contributing more. JMO

Nah, perimeter blocking was the main issue. If there's a knock on the TO, it's that you need every player to execute. Of course every type of offense wants every player to execute, but the wide OL gaps, perimeter blocks and QB reads ALL need to go well usually to get good gains.

WR and passing game is also important as well because even perfect execution in the run game won't be good enough if the defense can successfully play 9 in the box or blitz the corners.

But the base offense absolutely needs perimeter blocking before we worry about the passing game. As somebody said, "it's never as good or bad as it seems." What does worry me is the huge amount of seniors on BB, AB and WR. I said before the year that we had the most talent I have seen on offense since 2009. Now I'm really worried about those three positions for next year.

Great post. The people who don't get tickets for next year may spend the rest of their lives wishing they had.

I know a guy that dropped his tix for 2014 since we weren't going to be very good.

Who is worried about the passing game? That was the point.

I think we had one of the greatest group of players who brought everyone together after a tumultuous off-season. I don't think the contribution of the leaders on this team will ever get the recognition it deserves (even if it gets a ton of recognition, because these guys literally prevented GT's football program from descending into mediocrity).

That being said I am thrilled this group of players have allowed So e Tech fans to recognize how lucky we are to have PJ. He is the best coach we could possibly have, and I say that not because of his unstoppable offense but because of his defense. Our defense has sucked, but unlike what most coaches would do, he has been willing to make changes as soon as he thinks thinGS aren't working out. The Al Geoh experiment put us behind for a long time, so I am glad we got CTR to step in, because I doubt anyone else could have done such a good job. Just a great time to be a Tecn fan cause we are I. A super unique position with the quality of our coaches, and I hope the Yetmans in the fanbase don't ruin it.

Relax and enjoy this year before we start worrying about next year. Just the 4th time in GT history we've won 11 games. Think about what we just experienced.

Sucks to be him!

I told him it was a mistake at the time.

Speaking of which, I wonder how our former fan that posted on here how he was no longer a GT Fan enjoyed his holiday. Jerk
