This is the first year it has been on NYE. But yeah, being the only game certainly helped.

It wasn't a viewing record for the Orange Bowl, but rather a viewing record for any game on NYE on ESPN.

By far the worst location for a "Big 6" bowl game, expensive, and in the middle of the week. Not surprising at all. This has nothing to do with our fanbase.

My guess is MSU would have brought even less than they did (and it's not like they packed the stands either) if they had already been a few years ago like we had.

If we add ethnic studies, we'd be a real university that can recruit pretty much anyone. See Julius Peppers for evidence. Die Green Bay.

We should add a Fast Food Restaurant Technology degree. We could do it in conjunction with The Varsity. Perfect marriage.
