The tears of the SEC West

If the BCS was still alive, Bama would have played one of the Mississippi teams in the NC game and won again.

Pretty sure the bcs would have pitted FSU and Bama so thats not much of a stretch

FSU would have matched up with Bama a whole lot better than Oregon this year.

By the way, I love how newcomers Missouri and A&M are the ones holding the SEC up high.

God, please let this period of BS be over at ESPN, in the committee, in the AP, etc.

Was expecting to see this:

I noticed that SECRant is awfully quiet this morning, but yesterday there were quite a few posts from the newcomers talking about how they were "carrying the SEC". One Hog fan, in fact, was crowing about how well the SouthWEST Conference was doing, chanting "SWC! SWC! SWC!" :lol:

Actually I read that the 6 BCS computer rankings had the same top 4 as the selection committee and in the same order. What got really out of whack was the rankings below that, where the committee was obviously trying to create favorable matchups for TV ratings.

I was very surprised to hear that, but apparently while the committee decided to move TCU down at the last minute, the computers never had them that high.

@finebaum
For the record, the sun did not come up this morning in Alabama. Now please excuse me while I finish eating breakfast: Cold crow.

Umm, does not the SECw having really, really good teams make our win better?
