öööö that. I'm not flying from utah to see us play Pitt. Homecoming game against vpisu was prob the best gameday atmosphere I had in my 8 years at Tech.
It's not necessarily what I want but it is what will happen.

A very slight chance in my opinion.

So far we compete with Oklahoma @ Tennessee and LSU @ Mississippi State
Some people don't even have MSU in their polls for next season right now. I think ESPN put them at #11 in SEC rankings headed to nest year. They lost a lot on defense. If ND gets the preseason hype their expected to get then that could easily be a top 15 matchup. I'd say we'd be the frontrunners.

Fun fact: We only play two division opponents within 7 days once.

I see only six folks who could probably give us troube.ND ,although losing players can reload and we play them there......Clemson at their place....Miami at theirs and Dook at Durham........We play the pups here but that will be tuff and VT comes here on a Thursday.Thursday looses players but has plenty to go around and they played us last year...Now I know I posted seven but Miami is a head case and Dook can be beat even though we play them there......we need to play hard since we will not surprise nobody thisyear.

eeeeeehhhh I'd say Oklahoma @ Tennessee is the front runners but if both us and ND come out of the gate strong, you're probably right.

I figured with Prescott coming back everyone would have Mississippi State back in their top 25.

Certainly a tough schedule, but I'm not complaining too much. Other than not having a bye week until late in the season and playing a Thursday night game in November, it's a very good schedule.

There will be no room for a hiccup against Tobacco Road this season, and the back end of the schedule lends itself to moving us up the polls if we play well.

FSU was homecoming last time they came to town, I believe.
They stunk last time they came to town

Actually, what is the face value ticket price difference between the two games? Maybe getting a sold-out F$U (which could/should happen anyway) will mean more revenue than the attendance bump we'd get from making Pitt the hc game?

we are going to have more depth across the board as long we find some A and B backs. When you look at the quality games we had late last year I think we will be ok physically.

I don't mind this at all. Will give us some good scouting on how they plan on defending us again.
Georgia Southern no longer runs the flexbone spread option. Their offense is very very different than ours.

I wouldn't call it "very very different". Its still heavily influenced by the triple option.

I'm getting married the 7th of November. Luckily, that fall's on the week (technically the week before) of the VPISU game. Nice.
Not sure if you realize it, but they play football every fall, so your anniversary weekend's going to conflict with games until you get divorced. :-)

The Southern boards earlier this season were commenting that they use a lot less cut-blocking than we do. I, myself do not know.

And I'm also in the camp of thinking this could be a heck of a test for UGA.

UGAg plays Kentucky. Florida plays Vandy. That covers my friends teams. Plus, you don't think there'll be TVs there? Come on.
You probably haven't sent out invitations yet. That means there's still time to move the wedding to late December or 2016. Don't make a huge mistake.
