Think about how many runs Thomas had that didn't end with him in the endzone or stepping out of bounds. I can only picture a handful to be honest although I'm sure there were more. Probably 90% of the runs I can think of right now end with him stepping OOB.
I remember a few runs where he cut inside the defender who was predicting outside run and JT goes down with minimal contact as the big hit approaches.

This is a great comparison injury-wise.

Watson lost a lot of his OL (5 off the 2-deep) and his OC. Let see if he can A) stay on the field, and B) play well consistently before we start putting him in the POTY discussion.
No. Because Clemson. Lick the rock and believe. The future is always next year.

Can we go ahead and agree to call him "JFT?
Nah - that was a cool thing for Nesbitt. Our QB now is JT5. Give it two more years and folks will ask if we can call the next guy MJ11 or something.

Not really. Looked like a good prospect but (a) limited sample size and (2) he's always hurt.
and (d) he lives in the most boring area of South Carolina. Where nothing remotely exciting apart from a few Dabo dance moves, will ever happen. Period.

So subtle, yet so good. It takes a lot to pull off a 25 year old reference.
