I've said it before and I'll say it again, via some rumor mills:

Upon learning of the hiring of George Godsey, Tom Brady e-mailed Bill Belichick saying, "Who the öööö is George Godsey?"

Belichick replied, "He's your new ööööing coach."

I think he ran by them before they even looked to see if he had the ball. His 40 time was done with an sundial.
 
I believe he was the inspiration for that scene in Forrest Gump where he started to run and his leg braces fell off.... Run Goosey Run!

He is looking a bit Fridgesque.
 
Good for Goose. He gave a lot to Tech and it's great to see him have success in the NFL.

As for the fat jokes, Goose holds the Tech records for completion percentage and single season passing yards, and went 2-0 against U[sic]GA. In addition to that, he has an IE degree and was in the IE study lounge a lot of the time he wasn't on the field. He deserves better.

EDIT: He was 1-1 versus U[sic]GA

he was 1-1
 
he lost his last game to UGA as I recall..but he was still a stud. Let's hope he returns when CPJ hangs it up.

That is great, though you could also go with "a guy that actually started at quarterback in college."
