Completely out of the blue - but lots of great things to say about the draft's best kept secret. It's from BleacherReport but still... always great to see GT players get some pub.

He'd probably be taken by taken within the first three or four rounds if it wasn't for his injury. Shame. Regardless, if his recovery goes smooth and he's ready, he'll shock some people. I got to believe there's a few teams out there praying for him to go unnoticed.
 
He was a warm blanket for us on 3rd-and-Smelter downs all year. I truly believe that he would have made the difference against FSU. They didn't stop us often, but when they did there seemed to be a JT5/Waller miscommunication mixed in each time. Really pulling for him and thankful for the 2 seasons he gave us. Jeune/Messick have big shoes to fill in the possession receiver role.
 
i dont think Smelter would have helped our DB falling on his ass and giving CrabLegs a wide open target in the EZ
 
i think he has comparable skills to d thomas at this stage, like to see the falcons pick him up.

Not sure the Falcons would be clever enough - the Patriots always seem to pick up gems - due to the injury he may slip to where a sharp coach will see the value
