ESPN top players by number

öööööööy premise but I'll take it.

Edit: g*mmick is a banned word? Weird.

So their best #5, Robert Nkemdiche, "doesn't get the stats" and was on a team that got shredded during their bowl game. JT5 has the stats and was on a team that won a major bowl and shredded the defense it faced. What gives?

Wait, I figured it out, SEC baybeeeeeeeee.....

I know this one is just fluff, but we're getting a ton of defenders mentioned in all sorts of lists lately. At some point somebody outside of Tech is going to take notice and have an AH-HA moment. This is likely our best DL since '08 (by a decent margin too). I think the main reason is nobody outside of Tech and apparently Phil Steele knows about Jabari yet. If our ABs and WRs can get it together in fall camp (big if) we might set some records for TOP this year.

They know about Jabari, they just haven't heard the updates that he now weighs as much as a loaded F350.

Apparently people got tired of seeing the word used early in the CPJ era as it pertained to his offense?

All 2016 draft rankings project Nkemdiche to top 20 first rounder so I wouldnt exactly question him ahead of JT on a list of top players.

So it is a list of potentially how good a player could be, not how good the player actually is playin CFB?

depends on which set of criteria makes the SEC player wearing that particular number look better.
