Will the new Tech Fund create under priced football tix?

Probably taking your comment too seriously, but there is some cut off of something like 9 hours to let you pay the athletic fee.

Up to three total hours of enrollment, you pay the technology fee but not the athletic fee. Schedule over three hours and you get hit with the full compliment of mandatory fees including the athletic fees, health fees and anything else they can legally throw at you to make a quick buck. ;)

Hey, I just wrote a check for $600 that I wouldn't have otherwise. I also get to lock in on 30 yard line tickets, when i was sitting in the endzone last year.

The person i was sitting with in the end zone has picked up my two tickets.

I am not complaining at all.

And I think I'll be able to pick up 2 tickets for basketball as well and am willing to pay the licensing fee there as well. I have been on the basketball ticket waiting list for two years without success.

The TechFund initiative has been good for me...

THIS is the intent of the program, and is why I support the program in general, even though I personally had to make some tough decisions about my own finances due to it.

So if I take a 3 hour and a 1 hour class, I pay the athletic fee, and qualify for student tickets?

Maybe time to go get my MBA. One football season at a time.

You got it Beej67. Hit that 4 hour magic enrollment mark and you'll have the distinct pleasure of paying all the mandatory fees according to my understanding - and there are a bunch of them that normally get tacked on. Just for reference, I don't believe the Bursers Office is negotiable on opting out of the fees if you only take 4 hours. For example, you'll have to pay the health fee even though you probably already have a good insurance program or primary medical care. If your employer reimburses you for tuition, books, etc., a lot of them do not reimburse for anything other than tuition, technology fees and possibly books. Just food for thought in your decision process.

As an aside comment relative to your MBA aspirations, it looks like Tech is making monumental jumps in the new graduate rankings for the School of Management. I had heard through the grapevine that Tech jumped from 34 to 25 in the most recent rankings, leaving the flagship Terry program behind in a cloud of smoke. Way to go Tech!

Good luck in your decision making process.

Plus, if you were giving at the "Heisman" or such level to the AT fund in years past, then you've more than paid the licensing fee for your tickets. Just switch where you contribute (AT to TF) and there's little change in cash outlay.

Clough must go. Curry for prez!

Hopefully this was TIC. About the only idea worse than putting Curry in charge of a 100 million dollar operation is putting him in charge of a multibillion dollar operation.

Tech Fund EQUALS A-T FUND...

There's no real switch IF you've been paying above the minimum for your tickets.

Your money is merely 1. due last Friday 2. Going into a different GTAA account.

No one SHOULD be paying both Tech Fund and A-T annual gift...

They could have done a GREAT bait and switch by not giving this thing a New Name but labeling the Seating Areas by A-T Fund Donor level...

oh...but then Tech would have been lieing to us..
