OSU Suspensions for VT game

As long as OSU can keep the ball out of the hands of VT's defense they should be OK

It's football. Crazier things happen. I'll be rooting for VPI for this game and their bottom to fall out for the rest of the season.

An argument could be made that VT has the best DL in the country and the best DC in the country with a month+ to gameplan against an offense that he limited to 21 points the previous year on the road. I expect the game to be decided by 10 points or less. I'm just not sure I see the VT offense producing enough to win despite the good showing from the defense.

Something like 20-13 OSU.

Foster is nowhere near the best DC in the country.

Fine, so I'll lay the points, whatever the spread is at kickoff, and back it up with the traditional bottle-of-my-own-piss. jesus its a joke guys seriously

Yeah. This. With all the conference superiority bullshizz that's going on these days, you almost HAVE to pull for all ACC teams OOC. In conference...that's another story.

We will have a hard time against Vpisu this year, just as we do every year. I don't care who wins between them and Ohio st. I'll be rooting against both teams

Coach Dolan's winning football formula.

Christ you guys are such haters you've turned me into a VT cheerleader just to promote some logic. Nowhere near the best DC in the country? He's consistently produced top tier defenses for 10+ years with elite defenses about half the time without elite talent.

And he's really the only DC that I've seen approach the level of in-game adjustments that CPJ has mastered. CPJ vs Foster is one of the better matchup of coaching minds in the country each year.

Arguments could be made for others, but it's just retarded to say he's not even close. He's basically made VT relevant. Take him away and that program falls to the bottom of the Coastal.

I don't like VT, but it would be wonderful to read and hear the commentary after the defending NC, tOSU, was beaten again by the 5th best team in the ACC Coastal. I don't count VT out. If you have a defense as good as theirs, you have a chance. Defenses are usually ahead of offenses in the first game, VT's stadium will be rocking, a defensive TD or two, good punting, and stranger things have happened. A couple of years back, didn't VT come closer to beating eventual MNC Bama in the kickoff classic than anyone else that year despite the fact they had no offense? OSU either blows them out early, which I will enjoy watching, or OSU has to fight for it's life late in the 4th qtr.

Foster is a top 10 draft pick and I hate VT.
