Looks like Mason and Waller have the best chances. Nealy and Laskey look unlikely. And Smelter is pretty much a lock despite being injured.

But this was the best part:

Baltimore wide receiver Darren Waller made a catch for 12 yards early in the second quarter that converted a third-and-5. He was targeted three times. Notably, New Orleans defensive backs were called for defensive holding, illegal contact and pass interference on throws to Waller. (Interestingly, the latter two were called against cornerback Damian Swann, the former Georgia Bulldog. You may recall Waller caught a touchdown pass over Swann in last year’s Tech-Georgia game.)

Waller still owning Swann 9 months later

Good find!

And I'm sitting here gloating, knowing I done told you guys Waller was an NFL lock.

DB's are scared sh*tless already. Too big and strong of a target. Great 3rd down option for a good QB. I'm real happy for him.

Ha that is fantastic.

Any word on what Days is up to? I guess no one else picked him up since he was cut? CFL maybe, as suggested for Laskey in another thread?

How can you assume Neely and Laskey look unlikely after reading that article? That write up is crap with very little research done by Ken. Another perfect reason that I won't buy the AJC.
Good grief!

It's not just from that article, most projections have Laskey getting cut. And Fisher has already said he's not fond of FBs. He had an uphill battle from Day 1.

Nealy is trying to get a spot on an already stacked defense in Seattle.

Neither is dead yet, but it's not looking good either.

Damian Swann is Waller's little bitch. I bet he took his lunch money too.

If Nealy doesn't make it in Seattle, there are other teams where the defense is thinner. About 30 or so teams...
