cardinals are in town... that's their biggest rival and a division game. we're gonna go hang out in wrigleyville (friends are going to the game.) we may try to find cheap tix outside the stadium but more likely we'll find a rooftop bar.

As far as the Cubs, several of us are going to Wrigleyville for the game and if we can scalp for cheap in the 2nd inning or so we will. Otherwise we'll just do the Wrigleyville bar crawl.

Headed to the cubs game that Friday as well. There was a bunch of Texas fans at the Cubs friday game before their matchup with ND. Hopefully we represent well as well (that burnt orange does stick out a lot more than our shade of gold though).

Would like to meet up with you guys if we can figure something out. I'm also interested in doing some kinda self-guided walking tour of campus, if anybody has any info about that.

About 15 of us going in total sitting in various parts of the GT section(s). We're all taking the Chicago GT Alumni bus and will be tailgating in Innovation Park. Haven't been this excited for a game in a while... Only FSU in Charlotte last year rivals this.

I'm on the bus as well with a group of 10 - about half alumni and half friends I converted for the weekend. I plan on drinking there with the supply of free booze/food (and 200+ Tech fans). Then the walk to the stadium will be my campus tour. Sitting in 118. So amped!

Also there was talk of starting a Yellow Jackets chant at the Cubs game on Friday. If I hear it I'll be bringing the noise.

I bought a ticket for one of these buses (don't think it is an alumni one -- it was the later one promoted here out of a Chicago bar/restaurant) just to show up and tailgate with it
