5th player lost so far

Without Smythe, the Irish must turn to Tyler Luatua, Nic Weishar and Alize Jones at the position. None of the three have caught a pass in a college game, with Weishar and Jones playing sparingly this season. Jones, a five-star prospect on Scout.com last year, dropped his only target this fall. Luatua has been thrown to just once.

Another four or five weeks like this and they might start running low on 5 Star recruits..

What's crazy is they lost 5 guys including QB and they're still optimistic about the rest of the talent. We lost our backup qb and the board imploded.

Well that's enough to make Touchdown Jesus just throw his hands up in the air!

Yawn. We don't even have tight ends on our team. They're just making excuses for when they get their asses handed to them.

I'm worried about their offensive line. Those guys are transformers. If we can't get in their face and disrupt their offense we're in trouble.

+1

A game where we may be held all day but never get the call is always a concern, at a high ranked team, on the road.

Hopefully we can throw enough depth at them to wear them out...

I would agree if I were not confident that the offense will have a good day. I think if we get 3 stops we win by double digits.

I feel bad for this TE. I hope they find him.

It is said that the swamp outside of South Bend is haunted with banshees that have claimed many football players over the years. These are the ones that no one witnesses getting hurt in games, mind you.

Transformers? As in they step down voltage? That is indeed dangerous. You wouldn't want to make contact with them while grounded.

Or do you mean they are like autobots and decepticons and can turn from robots to vehicles? That too is quite a challenge for our guys.
