If you are still hoping for the Playoff, if we win out, we would still get in. I don't think that's the least bit realistic, but it's out there.

Realistically, we got our asses handed to us by a highly motivated team while we couldn't be bothered to show up. Burn up the tape and never talk about this game again. If we can recover from almost losing to Georgia Southern last year, we can recover from this. There are plenty of games left to make this look like an aberration.

Main thing is, the team, and especially the players, have to CTFD, swallow the pill, and move on. Everything (including the playoff if you are so inclined) is still on the table. Go put a beating on Duke!

Lol... I did say I didn't think that was realistic. But it's there.

This is the least damaging loss that we could have. It has no impact on winning the conference. We should not drop significantly for losing to the number 8 team on the road. This is a learning opportunity for our young players.

Playoffs were never on my radar. Our two toughest games IMO are @ Clemson and @ Notre Dame -two games, along with UGA, that have no bearing on our Coastal aspirations.

We lost bad today, it happens, I'm over it -bring on Duke.

We got beat by a better team on the road. Get over it, get ready for the next game.

Notre Dame looked as good or better than any other team in the top 10 today. They are legit

We will never be able to compete at the highest level without being able to go to a traditional passing game when needed. It is so stupid to watch Justin go through the gyrations and not be able to see downfield. The offense restricts any chance of a comeback.

I love Tech. Like the team said last year, I try not to dwell on the losses more than a day. Time to get our minds right for Duke.

I don't think this is any catastrophe. Horrible, horrible game, but it doesn't even affect our conference hopes. Life isn't so bad.

It doesn't even need to be traditional, but it needs to be decent. Very, very poor passing today, even when there were some opportunities.

We can still have a great season though. We lost to the #8 team on the road...that's not as bad as losing to unranked Duke and UNC.

When we are in obvious passing situations, don't make the qb make a fake dive and then wiggle as if he's trying to perform the option. That could work on second and five, but nobody's biting on that on third or fourth down.

Guys, we lost this game up front. ND was very agressive on defense and penetration kills our offense running or passing. This is not because we don't run a pro style offense, it's because our offensive line and a-backs couldn't handle them blitzing every play. The whole rhythm of our offense was thrown off because we couldn't find the play clock and couldn't change up the snap count. It doesn't affect other teams because they aren't taking the play clock inside of 5 seconds like we do every play

I Agree with this.

This is just part of the PJ experience... There are going to be days where we look like complete garbage. I don't know why, but it happens every year. The question left is jf the guys want a repeat of 2010, or want to build off their success. They got to find the will to work harder and be better.

While most of our play today wasn't anything to be proud of, their is absolutely no shame in losing to this team at their house, like so many have said. Got to get over it, got to go back and focus on building towards winning the conference and beating Georgia. We do those two things, and none of us will care about this loss come December.

I'm with you all the way Nawaab.

I said it earlier this week. This game meant nothing as regards our playoff chances. If we win out we have just as much of a chance of making the playoffs that we would've had if we had won today.

However, whether we can actually win out is a completely different story.

I love my Yellow Jackets and student athletes have bad days sometimes.

ND front 7 wreaked havoc and we had trouble with the noise when trying to adjust at the line
