Do you think the bowl streak is in jeopardy

It's somewhat in jeopardy. I'm concerned, but I won't reach full panic mode unless we lose Saturday. We've known for a couple of years that this schedule would be the biggest challenge to the bowl streak, but we all expected to have a better team.

I still think we will make it, but step 1 is beating UNC. Oh, and people keep saying that a 5-7 team is gonna get an invite one of these years, so there's that....:inoutugh:

Yeah I'm predicting a bowl in El Paso against Oregon.

I had my eyes set on the humanitarian bowl or the emerald/kraft feed the hungry bowl in a cramped baseball stadium bowl, but I am not sure of they still exist or the ACC even has a tie-in with these bowls anymore.

Whatever. Sun Bowl against Oregon would be awesome to me, that is if the Orange Bowl doesn't like our only losses against Duke and ND.

The bowl streak isn't a big deal to me. Being mediocre is.

I can live with being mediocre occasionally - I kind of expected it this year after all the guys we lost. I'd still like to keep the bowl streak alive at a minimum, though. It's kind of nice to be in that conversation, even if we have to scrape our way in every once in a while.

We knew this schedule was tough going into the season. I have concerns about our ability to right the ship and keep the streak alive. I HOPE the offense figures it out, but it's an uphill battle. With injuries and inexperience we are seriously sucking wind and I don't know if there is enough time to figure it out.

If the streak stays alive its because the defense steps it up and we stay in the close games. I'm also suddenly concerned about our special teams. WTH came to mind after this past week........If Golden is hurt, then I'm gonna be cringing a lot on punts especially.

There have been three years under CPJ that Tech lost 3 games in a row and still kept the bowl streak going:

2010, lost to Clemson, VT, UM. Finished 6-7 (4-4).
2012, lost to UM, MTS, Clemson. Finished 7-7 (5-3).
2013, lost to VT, UM, BYU. Finished 7-6 (5-3).

UNC may be a "must win" game considering the difficulty of our remaining schedule, but losing 3 IAR has not kept us from bowling in the past.
