Reggie Ball

Ah good old Reginald. Wonder what he's been up to

He graduated and had been much more positive about the school than we have treated him.

I actually came to StingTalk because The Hive wouldn't let me complain about Reggie as a starter, but it is ridiculous the hard on some people still have for him all of these years later.

Not even close. We're mild as far as message boards go, and as far as I know we haven't crossed into physical vandalism like some other fanbases have:

You're right we don't care enough to do that stuff but care just enough to hate on our players when they suck while having a 20% empty stadium.

Some folks need to be limber enough to stick their heads in a toilet and be able to flush it at the same time.

If you are still upset cause of a 18 to 22 year old kid 10 years later on. You may be the problem. So cut the guy some slack it ain't like you got out there and ran some plays.

I use to cuss Reggie and Chan but from the comments Reggie has made I am willing to cut him some slack. He seems to have grown up some.

57 TDs vs 55 Ints
48% passing percent w/ megatron
0-4 against Dwags
Flunked out Sr year

"College football writer Pete Fiutak, contributor to the website Collegefootballnews.com, challenged readers to name a more ineffective four-year college football starter than Ball"

R***** B***

LOL, internet tough guy. Go ahead, you p***y. Why don't you meet Reggie and say your crap to his face?

By the way, I'll pay to be there. It'll be fun to watch your nose 'regress'.

He wasn't a great starter, hell he wasn't even good most of the time. But he busted his ass for GT and left it all on the field when he played. Just the two wins he had versus Auburn in his career and the comeback game vs Clemson were enough to make me respect the guy. You on the other hand...yeah, not so much.

We need a pole.

Did Reggie Ball bone StingThing's mother, wife, or daughter?

Reggie didn't become the superstar everyone wanted him to be but he left it all on the field and loves Tech. He's a great follow on Twitter as he's always positive about Tech and doesn't deserve the crap y'all give him.

Not many players played as hard as Reggie did. He might not have been great but I can respect him for how hard he played and the ambassador he has been for Tech since. The guy still loves Tech no matter how much you may have some weird obsession with him.

Butthurt much? I provided some stats to back my claim as to why he is one of the worst starting QBs we've had on the flats in the past 25 years. If you can provide something to the contrary, I'm listening.

For comparison, Vad threw around a 47% completion rate and had 15 TDs/13 Ints . That's pretty comparable to RB (ratio as well as comp %). Is it ok to bash VL or do we have to put him on a pedestal too?

Anyone who puts on the Tech uniform and wore it proudly and continues to be a good representative of the Institute is fine by me - Reggie Ball included. It doesn't matter how good he was, or what - he is one of us.
