Does the rule really prevent concussions?

Also, we've been non-huddle all game. Two guys with signs. Very surprising. Why is this being implemented now?

The whole point is to change the behavior of tacklers. I agree with it being ejection regardless of intent.

Gotsis shouldn't have tackled so high.

Though I hate it, I would say yes. They get a lot of people who don't deserve a penalty at all kicked out of the game, but they have definitely changed the way hits are delivered across both college and pro football. There are way fewer big helmet-to-helmet hits now then there were five years ago.
 
I like the new no or quick huddle. We get to the line with plenty of time and Justin is rushing to beat the play clock every time.
