I'm glad there's no bowl game

This failure of a team doesn't deserve to go on a trip at the end of the year. Plus we don't have to watch them get waxed by some mid major in a desolate outpost game.
 
This is a dumb perspective, if only because all the previous teams who made it to a bowl and the fans who have stuck with the team (good crowd tonight for a 3-6 team) don't deserve to see the streak broken.
 
They are prolly happy to go home & skip 15 fays of extra practice.
 
I'd normally argue that practice time matters but these cheesedicks had 3 extra days of prep and THAT was their performance!?!?
 
The streak is dumb. It's pieced together with bullshit games like 2 humanitarian bowls, a loss to Fresno state in the Silicon Valley bowl, Shreveport, and Seattle in a baseball stadium.
 
Bowl streak meaningless compared to beating ugag, except for GT employees who sap a free trip from the GTAA.

Here is what gets me. We have many who gripe and complain about the burden of contract payoffs we struggle to live with, and yet have no problem with us losing hundreds of thousands of $ on crappy bowl games.

That streak has helped us not one bit. I know it MIGHT be nice for the kids, but real programs do not hang there hat on this type of thing.
 
If we beat Miami and UGA we still probably get a bowl game.

And öööö.

If we manage somehow to beat Miami and UGA then I say öööö YEAH BOWL GAME.

We need the practice, at the very minimum.
 
Don't forget the Emerald Nut Bowl. You know you had a bad season when you go to a bowl and both teams have to stand on the same sideline.
 
As poorly as they played, don't forget the injuries that have decimated them, particularly on offense.
I do agree though, they are a poor team.
 
I want a bowl for the practice. Also, cpj just might need to sacrifice someone to the red god so we aren't this bad next season.

Which was the bowl where one endzone was too close to the wall so they had to play it all one way?
 
So what are the bowl qualifications now? I thought you had to win 6 games.
 
The only streak I care about is 2-0
