3-9

Hope this is the fuel Wreck Em needs to, as his beloved Dwag HC says, "finish the drill."

Shoutout to @GaTechPD and Central EMS for helping me after I had a bad anxiety attack after the game.

3-9 and one FG-block-TD-return away from a 10 game losing streak.

Flush this season, focus on next year.

Definitely --I deleted all 2015 games from the DVR last night ...including FSU. Finally -season's done.

I didn't watch them ...except for FSU of course, and UNC since I was at the beach that weekend. But yeah, I probably should have deleted after UVA.

I realized last night I still had a game saved. Freed up some space.

Depressing season.

The culprit is not CPJ, though he made some dumb plays calls including today. He has a track record of 8 years, and we have had some great wins and stellar seasons. This season was way below our average.

Just reset and erase 2015 and hope to be healthy in 2016.
Go Jackets!

Defense played well today. One early TD surrendered.

Offense looked like öööö.

If you thought this was bad, wait until CPJ moves on. It will take years of recruiting and a coach or two as a sacrifice to rebuild out of an option based team (assuming we don't hire one of his disciples).

I like what CPJ has done for us but going to the triple option based offense is like a slow death sentence for Tech football.

Well, I don't know. We had a good season last year. We have hope for another.

A new year beckons, arise to greet the 2016 season ...:biggthumpup::biggthumpup:

Disagree.

People said the same thing when pepper came in about getting people to run the bone. In 2008 people said the same thing about getting players to run the TO.

Both not true and the same applies when we are done with this O.

What is telling is IF CPJ wins his next 3 bowl games in a row and IF he beats vt / um / ugag the next 4 years in a row ( somebody care to give the odds?) then he will, against those opponents, be at 50% in those big games. Done well vs cu & fsu, but now he is tanking vs puke / unc. He has lost to ku, mtsu. Been embarrassed by gsu, Gardner Webb.

I guess 50% is the new standard of excellence at GT. IF we can go undeafeated vs those teams the next 4 years in a row.

My impression during the game, right or wrong, is that key members of the offense either didn't know which play was called or didn't know what to do given the play call.

I'm telling you guys, I think we have a weed problem.

Beej, if they got that stupid because of weed this season, then half the team should be failing out at the end of the season.

Sorry, that's what they said on the telecast. We still lose a lot. The point still stands on offense.

We lose Gotsis, even though he was hurt the last couple of games and we played without him. We lose DJ White, MIlton (who did not have a good year), Jamal and Demond Smith from the secondary. But we have AJ Gray, Step Durham and the Austin twins, coming back.

We lose Marcordes at linebacker .... frankly, I'm ready to see more of Brant Mitchell. Tired of Marcordes taking bad angles or getting swallowed up by offensive linemen.

We lose Snoddy at A-back, but he hasn't played much this year because of injuries anyway. We lose a couple of linemen ... also maybe not a bad thing.

Our biggest losses are Gotsis, DJ and Jamal, IMO. Those will be the hardest to replace. The rest? Thanks for playing for the Old Gold and White, beating UGag in Athens, whippin Missy State in the Orange Bowl and lots of other good memories.

Another 3-9 season will put him on the fiery hot seat.

We don't get ND, we get Miami and Virginia at home. I like the odds a lot better.

The Southern is game later in the year. They'll be pretty good on offense. But they're losing the heart and soul of their defense after this season, Dobson and Williams.

FSU loses two games: to the best team in the Atlantic Division and the worst team in the Coastal Division. Amazing.

We blow a 21 point lead and several late chances to ice the win at home over the Coastal Division winner. Amazing.

We have four starters back from what was almost universally acclaimed the best OL in the nation in 2014, and they become maybe the worst GT OL I've witnessed in the 55+ years I've followed Tech. Amazing.

In August, the early projected starters on offense were 5 RSR's, 3 RJR's, 2 RSO's and 1 RFR. In the 11th game, against Miami, after the first series, the offense was mostly playing 4 FR and 3 RFR. Amazing.

Picked near the bottom of the Division last year, we wound up top 10. Picked to win the division and as a dark horse for the playoffs, we go 3-9, but beat the highest ranked team we play. Amazing.

That after 55+ years of slavish devotion to GT I would expect anything different than this screwy year. Amazing.
