Longest Off-Season Ever?

Def the longest in 17 years.

But our opener is in Ireland so it will happen a few hours earlier than if it were here, so we got that going for us, which is nice.

Hmm. Interesting. But previous seasons that occurred after missing a bowl during a leap year were also not 12 games long, so they should be considered worse.
 
It's what we get for the shortest off-season ever last year (New Years bowl + Thursday night opener).
 
Last year felt so much longer because I was ready to see what the 2015 team could do behind a veteran OL. Plus, we just got that beast Skov in from Stanford to pad the BB's, while AB's were plug-and-play. Sure, we'd probably lose a couple close ones since we lost Waller and Smelter and were young at WR, but we had JT5 under center! 8-9 wins minimum, plus 2IAR against UGA beating them at home for the first time since 1999! No sir, 2015 couldn't get here soon enough.

Thunk I may agree that off seasons full of expectation are longer...
 
It just seems longer because all you dorks have is each other to talk to about how long the off season is. Nobody else cares. :biggrin:
