I heard on 680 that the decision is expected in about 10 days. Ten days from today is.... a Thursday.

“You sell your product,” Smart said. “We've got a great education. He's talked about going into engineering. We've got a great engineering program."

I don't know if this prolonged recruitment is as much of a red flag as the first link says. It sounds like he had a semi-plausible path to making it to Stanford, if his SAT scores could be expedited. The scores weren't expedited and so he's making a decision now on a school other than Stanford.

Probably the best signal is his sister getting a scholarship to UGA, and so 95+% it's UGA. Oh well, I didn't go to GT because it was easy.

GT and Cal seem like the only other two possibilities since ND doesn't have financial aid papers signed.

Many people think UGA has always been the mortal lock from the beginning, and GT has never been in the picture. If GT and Cal weren't in the picture at all, why would he sign the aid papers?

That is puzzling. His sister is going to UGA, so he's likely to go as well. Not sure why the smoke screen of GT and others. Unless he's just an attention whore.

"We've got a great education. He's talked about going into engineering. We've got a great engineering program."

Kirby Smart using this line is laughable.

Robertson can go where he wants, but comparing engineering schools between UGA and GT is hysterical.

UGA is a good school, but as we know Georgia Tech is a world class engineering school - one of the 5 best in the country and light years
ahead of UGA in that regard.

If Robertson goes to UGA he was never serious about engineering.

If he does end up going to UGA for engineering, I will enjoy watching a real engineer knock the öööö out of him in November.

But I still want him on the team.

CPJ should counter with "UGA has a real good engineering school. However, GT has an excellent engineering school"

Has it actually been confirmed that his sister even received a scholarship from UGA? I think it was just rumors that they were going to offer one.

UGA is the 4th best engineering program in the state of Georgia, really. Maybe 5th.

Has anyone ever actually worked with, known one, or ever even seen a real live UGAg engineer?
