Joke is in the wordSo he's going to be playing against us this year. öööö that. I'm not wishing him any success until after we've played them.
By the way GSU is Georgia State. The GASO president already capitulated like a little bitch. So fix the title.

Going to GASO for his masters makes not one bit of sense.
Fully explained in the article.
I read the article. Still doesn't make a lick of sense. An example would be to achieve at the highest level of education possible. Playing a year or so at GASO just shows you are going to play at a lower level program
He says he wants to teach. That's much easier to accomplish by not going to Tech for a masters. He'll be able to get a masters in education.Going to GASO for his masters makes not one bit of sense.
More likely......He quit the team and PJ didn't want him back and/or he couldn't get into a Masters program at the school. Someone else did this a few years ago, I kind of remember he couldn't get into a Masters program so he went somewhere else after he graduated.
The horse asses seem to come out in these type of threads. ;-)
Good luck to Michael!
Same way I feel. He quit on his teammates. He quit on the fans. I congratulate him on graduating and wanting to be an example to his community and I thank him for playing at Tech, but he quit when Tech needed him most.I mean, I'm glad he's graduating from Tech, and educationally, getting a Masters from Southern might be a reasonable fit for his goals. I still don't get the "quitting the team 3 games before the end of the season" thing, though. Unless there were extenuating circumstances that warrant walking out on a struggling, injury-riddled team, then that's a black mark against Summers in my book.
