Better Than Expected

I didn't expect this FTA:

"But Johnson, who is starting his eighth season and is now the dean of ACC coaches, believes his guys could surprise a lot of people."

Yea, 2008 is a long time ago in football coaching land. I'm sure cpj is moving on up in the country too.

Looks like he Is 15 or 16th going off a list last year where he was 22nd

It's like that semester I got 2 D's, and my dad told me "son we don't have any more expectations from you, do whatever you do." And the next semester I did better than expected because the expectations were set to 0.

CPJ stealing one from my playbook.

I think Cutcliffe and CPJ are tied for longest tenure in the ACC based on seasons. It might come down to date of hire.

Edit: CPJ hired on 12/7/07 and Cutcliffe hired 12/14/07

CPJ knows it is do or die this year so there is no reason to temper fans expectations as he has previously done... that said i hope he is right

I like what PJ is saying. I think we are going 10-2 this year at a minimum.

I just wonder what he has in store for Richt this year when Richt doesn't have an NFL two deep at his disposal

CPJ's 2-6 against Miami without Richt and 2-6 against uga with Richt. I hope we beat them this year so we Richt finally knows what it's like to lose a game at BDS.

Big ööööin cry I know.

Hate either this senility or Twilight Zone crap, but thought this is his 9th season.

And honestly, I think every year we play them that um has some of the best raw talent we see all season. Perhaps poorly coached, but raw speed & talent.
